Salvation

"For God so loved the world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, should not perish but have everlasting  life"    - John 3:16

How to begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ...

FYI: Baptism does not save anyone. Joining a church does not save anyone. Only Christ can save...

The Bible says:

1. All have sinned.....Romans 3:23

"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..."

2. Sin brings death...Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life

                  in Christ Jesus our Lord."

3. Salvation requires repentance...Luke 13:3

"...But unless you repent, you too will all perish."

4. Christ brings life.... II Corinthians 5:17

                "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;

the old has gone, the new has come!"

5. It is not of works....  Ephesians 2:8-9

"For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves,

it is a gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast."

6. We need to confess.... Romans 10:9-10

"...if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in

your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and

it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

A Salvation Prayer: "Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that You arose from the grave. I now ask You to forgive me of my sins and save my soul. In Jesus name, amen."
